Chucky–the hit Syfy and USA series based on the Child’s Play film franchise–recently wrapped up Season 2 and, while fans eagerly await word on a possible third season, a special holiday video has dropped that features Chucky sitting beside a blazing yule log (along with various clips from the show). In the series, Chucky’s evil plan to invade America’s children’s hospitals was thwarted in the Season 1 finale, but (of course) the demon doll didn’t stop there.
In the second season, Chucky (voiced by Brad Dourif) seeks revenge on those he holds responsible for his frustrations–surviving teens Jake (Zackary Arthur), Devon (Bjorgvin Arnarson) and Lexy (Alyvia Alyn Lind), not to mention Tiffany (Jennifer Tilly).
Meanwhile, according to the season synopsis, can “Jevon” make it as a couple “in the face of adversity at their new Catholic school, as well as a brand-new onslaught of terror from Chucky?”
The series–from producers Don Mancini, Nick Antosca, Alex Hedlund, David Kirschner and Jeff Renfroe–also stars Barbara Alyn Woods, Alex Vincent, Christine Elise, Devon Sawa, Lara Jean Chorostecki and Joe Pantoliano.
