Trailer Watch: Léa Seydoux Finds Love in Mia Hansen-Løve’s “One Fine Morning”

Mia Hansen-Løve’s latest sees Léa Seydoux falling for a married man. A trailer for “One Fine Morning” introduces us to Sandra (Seydoux), a widowed mother who is raising her daughter and helping to care her sick father. “I just feel like my love life is behind me,” she explains.

Sandra’s life takes an unexpected turn when she reconnects with Clément (Melvil Poupaud), a friend from her past. “You can still love and be loved,” he tells her. Their relationship isn’t platonic for long, but there’s a catch: Clément is married, and he’s “not ready” to leave his wife and make his son “suffer.” “This was never a fling for me,” Sandra says.

“No Time to Die,” “The Lobster,” and “Blue Is the Warmest Colour” are among Seydoux’s credits.

Hansen-Løve’s films include “Bergman Island,” “Things to Come,” and “Goodbye First Love.”

“One Fine Morning” has a one-week theatrical run starting December 9 and will open in NY and LA January 27.
